Long-tailed Duck (x)

Birds of NH #: 34/278

Avg. Clutch Size: 6-9

Avg. Brood/s per year: 1

Being an arctic dwelling creature, my chances of seeing one around here in New Hampshire is limited to its migratory appearances. It is a diving duck and males sport the conspicuously long tail feathers for which it is named.
