Always cool to see, the great blue heron is a staple of the waterway scenery here in New Hampshire. This is another bird that I can not remember not recognizing, it’s so common. From secluded ponds to beneath the shadows of an urban bridge, these large birds can be seen stalking through the shallows for prey.
